Seen and Heard it All

Like a child I run

I run from the dreams of you

Your aura that of the wicked

I judge you

Surely not I

Why should I do such a thing

I merely speak facts

You hate my facts

You deem me as a fool

Foolishness can never be mistaken for insanity

An emotion that those who know me

They know I mask that very well

Madness and insanity are usually my companions

So if I may ask

Who is the wicked of us

Yes, I do hold onto the darker side of life

Yes, you can say this and that of my personality

But I can tell you one thing

I never seek shelter behind another

What is there to fear

I’ve seen the pure, the horrid

I have seen and heard it all
The only thing that I must say

I long to see the shadows dancing

Dancing to silent songs that human ears cannot hear

Or perhaps are too afraid to hear

The puppets performing

The wall becomes a wonder

A wonder that many would consider mad

But madness and I are the perfect pair
